I'm currently a full-time photojournalist working at The Acadiana Advocate in Lafayette, La. I began my career at the The Daily Advertiser in Lafayette, where I spent nine years as a photographer/videographer. I was born and raised in Louisiana, and I've always loved the unique, vibrant culture in my home state, but I love taking any opportunity to travel and experience other places.
 

I crave being in the middle of the action, whether I'm covering breaking news or a championship sporting event. The day-to-day hustle and surprise of newspaper journalism is my passion. I've covered everything from festivals and concerts to protest marches, bank robberies and heroic rescues. I love meeting people, listening to their stories and capturing those stories in stills and video.
