A Lafayette Police officer takes Beau Branch, the driver of a vehicle that hit a Lafayette Parish school bus, into custody Tuesday, September 18, 2018, on West Willow Street near Patterson Street in Lafayette, La. A Lafayette Parish School System spokesperson said four students were on the bus at the time along with the driver. There were no injuries reported. Drug paraphernalia was found on the driver, who was suspected of driving under the influence.
